Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, Alma (22 August 2015)


Sri Maha Mariamman Devasthanam (GPS: 5.331025, 100.477735) is a Hindu temple in Alma, Bukit Mertajam. It is located on Jalan Seladang, next to SRJK (C) Sin Ya. According to the signage at the temple, it was established in 1898. That means it is over a hundred years old already. The temple has undergone renovations and expansions a number of times. As it stands today, it looks pretty new, so it may have undergone an expansion recently.
