Jalan Bagan Serai, Jelutong, Penang (31 January 2022)


Jalan Bagan Serai is a residential road in Taman Koperasi Jelutong, in Jelutong, George Town. It was named after the village of Bagan Serai in Kerian, Perak. Due to the haphazard way that the village area of Jelutong urbanise, the former country lane that was Jalan Bagan Serai developed into two separate urban streets, disjointed by existing property in the middle.

One section of Jalan Bagan Serai begins at Perak Road and ends at Jalan Bersih. Another section of Jalan Bagan Serai is connected via Jalan Hikmat to Jalan Tan Sri Teh Ewe Lim. This section also forms a junction with Jalan Selendang. It ends at Jalan Sir Ibrahim.
