Jalan Tasek, Simpang Ampat, Penang (12 July 2019)


Jalan Tasek is a major road in Simpang Ampat, Seberang Perai. It connects Jalan Permatang Tinggi (Federal Route 1) in the west to Jalan Valdor (State Route P145) in the east. Jalan Tasek itself is assigned as State Route P124.

Jalan Tasek was upgraded when the railway line was electrified. This led to the construction of a new Jalan Tasek Flyover and the widening of the road towards Jalan Permatang Tinggi, though it necessitated the demolition of a row of shophouses on the south side of the road.
