Taman Kota Permai (GPS: 5.34077, 100.45893) is a major housing estate in Bukit Mertajam. Located north of Jalan Bukit Minyak, it is served by Jalan Kota Permai, the main road going into the neighbourhood. Being quite a large neighbourhood, Taman Kota Permai has its own market and even a shopping centre. The Seberang Perai Municipal Council has also built a multi-purpose hall there.
