Taman Linear Padang Tembak (12 May 2013)


Taman Linear Padang Tembak (GPS: 5.40998, 100.29227), or Rifle Range Linear Park, is an urban park in the Rifle Range neighbourhood of Air Itam, Penang. It is surrounded by the Rifle Range Market, Sekolah Kebangsaan Padang Tembak and the Rifle Range Communal Car Park.

Taman Linear Padang Tembak provides much needed greenery for the inhabitants of the surrounding Rifle Range flats. The area is landscaped with walking paths and shrubs. There is also a labyrinth or maze for children to explore.

Getting there

Taman Linear Padang Tembak can easily be reached by bus. Take Rapid Penang bus 201, 202 and 204 and alight in front of Sekolah Kebangsaan Padang Tembak. The park is located just across the service road from the school.
