Taman Sri Puteri is 17 km from Komtar. It is not the most ideal place to stay if you are working in the city. The distance is simply too far, and the roads are congested all the way. It is more appropriate for people working in the south side, such as at the Bayan Lepas Industrial Zone.

The nearest market is the Desa Ria Market in Desaria as well as the Sungai Ara Market. The bigger market in the area is the Bayan Baru Market. The nearest shopping centres include Sunshine Square and Giant Hypermarket. The nearest petrol stations include the Shell in Bayan Lepas town and the Esso, Caltex and Shell in Bayan Baru. The nearest hospital is Pantai Hospital.

Traffic situation at Taman Sri Puteri

Traffic along Jalan Dato Ismail Hashim is heaviest between the Sungai Ara village and the junction of Jalan Kenari. The junction of Jalan Bayan and Jalan Dato Ismail Hashim is a source of congestion, especially during rush hour, when traffic queues can slow traffic to a crawl.
