Tanjung Bungah Night Market (GPS: 5.46338, 100.28481) is a night market in
Tanjung Bungah, Penang. It takes place every Tuesday evening, and is held within the grounds of the
Tanjung Bungah Market. The stalls are erected around the market building. Many of the itinerant hawkers are the same as those at other night markets in Penang. They simply move according to night market day in the area.

My visit to the Tanjung Bungah Night Market
28 February, 2017
My wife and I decided to make a trip to visit the Tanjung Bungah Night Market. What we saw is the same as at night markets elsewhere, same itinerant hawkers selling the same items, only at different location on different day.
We decided to try the
Hokkien Mee, as we have not tried this stall before, and it appeared to be doing quite good business, as there was a queue of customers. But after we have tasted it, my wife felt it wasn't salty enough. I would agree that it perhaps will taste better it saltier, but to me it is still okay.

In addition to Hokkien Mee, we also tried the
Yong Tau Foo and the
Putu Mayong. The Yong Tau Foo has a price list, and I selected 15 pieces for RM7. While waiting for the Hokkien Mee, I saw that the table next door ordered lots of Putu Mayong, so I placed my order with the Putu Mayong seller. It was RM2 per pack.
