This is the association that manages the Hanjiang Teochew Ancestral Temple, which is set up in 1864. The association is housed in its own historical building next to the temple.

The Teochew Association is housed in a two-storey building. It was built in 1923 and was the original premises of the Han Chiang School founded by noted Teochew, Lim Lean Teng. The façade is a fusion of Western and Chinese architectural elements. The main entrance is through a central arch flanked on either sides by smaller entrances. At the top of each side are round openings. Today the building is used as the association office. However its was designed to be a school. The school, now known as Han Chiang High School, has since relocated to the Ayer Itam - Green Lane area.
