Amnat Charoen Province (จังหวัดอำนาจเจริญ

) is a province in the North East Region of Thailand. It borders
Ubon Ratchathani Province to the south and east,
Yasothon Province to the west,
Mukdahan Province to the north and Salavan in
Laos to the northeast.
Amnat Charoen Province is 3,162 sq km (1,220 sq mi), ranking it 60th out of the 76 provinces of the kingdom. Its population of 360,000 (2011 estimate) places it in the 63rd position. The province is divided into 7 districts or
amphoe which are further subdivided into 56 subdistricts or
tambon containing a total of 653 villages or
muban. The districts of Amnat Charoen Province are Mueang Amnat Charoen (Amnat Charoen Town), Chanuman, Pathum Ratchawongsa, Phana, Senangkhanikhom, Hua Taphan and Lue Amnat.
Amnat Charoen Province was created on 12 January, 1993 when it was separated out of Ubon Ratchathani Province. Along with
Nong Bua Lam Phu Province and
Sa Kaeo Province, it is one of the three youngest provinces of Thailand.

- Buddha Uttayan
A park-like area containing a major Buddha image called Phra Mongkhon Ming Muang.
- Chidsakol Farm
A huge plantation with various types of flowering plants, particularly the African marigold.
- Mo Lam Village
A tourist village where cultural performances are staged.
