Bang Na Expressway (ทางพิเศษบูรพาวิถี ), Bangkok

Bang Na Expressway is a 54-km six-lane elevated highway in Bangkok, Thailand. It is officially known as the Burapha Withi Expressway (Thai: ทางพิเศษบูรพาวิถี ) It is a toll road that follows above the Bang Na-Bang Pakong Highway (National Highway Route 34) on the eastern part of Bangkok, Thailand. In fact, it leaves Bangkok, passes through Samut Prakan Province and Chachoengsao Province, to end at Chon Buri Province. If the expressway were a bridge, it would have been the second longest bridge in the world, but as it does not go over water for much of its length, it is not listed as one. The widest body of water that it crosses is the Bang Pakong River.

The Bang Na Expressway was designed by Jean Muller International, and opened to traffic on 7 February, 2000. There are two toll plazas on the elevated structure. In those sections, the expressway widens to twelve lanes.
