Phra Sumen Fort is one of the fourteen medieval forts that used to guard Bangkok. It is located at the entrance to
Khlong Bang Lamphu from the
Chao Phraya River.
Phra Sumen Fort is built in two levels. At the centre is an octagonal observation tower. Many of the cannons of the fort are still in place. In the year 2000, the grounds surrounding the fort was turned into a park called Santichaiprakarn Park.
