Siam Square refers to a shopping and entertainment precinct in downtown Bangkok. To be precise, it is the area to the southeast of the intersection between Thanon Rama I road and Thanon Phaya Thai road in Pathumwan. However, among tourists, Siam Square usually include the surrounding shopping centers such as Siam Center, Siam Discovery Center, MBK Center, Siam Paragon, the Ratchaprasong shopping area, all the way to Sukhumvit Road.

Siam Square is often labelled the Shinjuku of Thailand, or SoHo, as it is the choice meeting place of young people and office workers. It has a dense collection of restaurants, boutiques, cafes and other commercial outlets.

How to go to Siam Square

Take the BTS Skytrain Sukhumvit Line or Silom Line to the Siam Skytrain Station and you will see Siam Square on the south side of Thanon Rama I.
