Chumphon Province จังหวัดชุมพร is one of the provinces in the Southern Region of Thailand. It faces the Gulf of Thailand, on the narrowest part of the Isthmus of Kra which it shares with Ranong Province and Myanmar.
Chumphon Province covers 6,009 sq km (2,320 sq mi) and has a population of 492,000 people (2012 estimate). It ranks 38th in size and 57th in population. The provincial capital is Chumphon Town. The province is divided into 8 districts (amphoe), 70 subdistricts (tambon) and 674 villages (muban). The districts are Chumphon Town (Mueang Chumphon), Tha Sae, Pathio, Lang Suan, Lamae, Phato, Sawi and Thung Tako.

Hat Sai Ri: A long stretch of white sandy beach in Chumphon Province.
Ko Samet: One of the islands in the Chumphon National Marine Park.
Prince of Chumphon Shrine: Shrine built to venerate the Admiral Phra Borommawong Thoe Kromluang Chumphon Khet Udomsak. It includes a small museum displaying artifacts used by the admiral.
