Doi Luang National Park is a national park that spreads over the borders of three Thai provinces, namely
Chiang Rai Province,
Phayao Province and
Lampang Province. It covers an area of 1,170 sq km.
Doi Luang National Park was established in 1990 by combining Bha Gred Naak Waterfall Park, Champa Thong Waterfall Park, Pu Gaeng Waterfall Park and Wang Gaew Waterfall Park. The highest peaks within the park is at 1798 m. The best time to visit is between November and July, when it is cool and dry.
