Loh Samah Bay, Phi Phi (4 November, 2005)
Loh Samah is a bay on the southern part of the island of
Phi Phi Le. As with
Pileh Lagoon, it is surrounded by sheer limestone cliffs. However, unlike Pileh, there is a cove with a small stretch of sandy beach at Loh Samah, so it is possible for visitors to go ashore here.
I have been to Loh Samah Bay twice. On my first visit, on 30 August, 2003, we were caught in a heavy downpour when we arrived at the cove - I still have the photos to show.
