Trang Province จังหวัดตรัง is a province in Southern Thailand. Located on the west coast of the Malay peninsula, Trang shares a border with the Thai provinces of Krabi, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung and Satun, and faces the Andaman Sea to the west.
Trang Province covers 4,917.5 square kilometers (1,898.7 square miles) and ranks 44th in terms of size among the provinces of Thailand. It has an population of 630,000 people (2011 estimate), making it the 40th most populous province. The administrative capital is Trang City or Mueang Trang, which is also known in Malay as Tarangue.
