Experiencing the hospitality of The Edison George Town (6 February 2018)




The Edison George Town is a small luxury hotel in George Town. It opened in mid July, 2016. My wife and I had the pleasure of being invited to a complimentary stay a few weeks after it opened. At the time of our visit, it was still putting the finishing touches.

Arriving at the hotel, we parked and then made our way across the stately porch and into the reception hall, where we were warmly greeted. Checking in was smooth, and the Executive Assistant Manager, Mr Ivan Khoo, ushered us to our room. It was Room 112, on the ground floor.

Look, this is our room. It has a quiet elegance to it. Since this hotel is within what was once a rich man's mansion, you can feel the spaciousness of the room.

We was a wonderful weekend for us at The Edison George Town, and time passed so swiftly, for soon, it was time to check out. During our stay, we enjoyed a breakfast in The Lounge, with cold cuts, toasts and bagels.
