In conjunction with the upcoming 61st Independence Day Celebrations, The Light Hotel has launched its Fish Head Curry Promotion. This special fish head curry meal is sure to delight the tastebuds of food enthusiasts who love local fare (me included, of course), particularly fish head curry.
This particular fish head curry is the result of close to half a year's research by the hotel's executive chef, Chef Halim Mohamad, in his quest to perfect fish head curry using red snapper and the freshest ingredients obtained daily from the market.
The Fish Head Curry is in the form of a set for 4 persons. It includes 2 types of vegetables of the day and 4 unlimited servings of Basmati Rice. The meal is priced at RM130.00 per set (usual price RM200 per set) from 8 August until 16 September, 2018.

Fish Head Curry Food Review
My wife and I joined members of the print and social media to launch the Fish Head Curry Set on Wednesday, 1 August, 2018. In addition to the fish head curry, we were also served with Prawn Sambal, Golden-fried Giant Squid, Crab Curry served with Mantau, Deep Fried Ayam Kampung, Stir-fried Wing Beans, Stir-Fried Water Spinach, homemade Sambal Shrimp Paste and Chinese-Style Mixed Vegetables. These side dishes, apart from the two vegetables of the day, are available to be ordered à la carte.
I enjoyed the Fish Head Curry very much, and as I counted, took 3 servings of rice. Our table was possibly the only one of the four tables which get an additional replenishment of the curry. All the effort the Chef Halim put in to perfect the curry was worth its while. I ate more than I should!

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
