The Light Hotel Penang (GPS: 5.394385, 100.398593) is a 5-star hotel in Penang. It opened to business on 26 January, 2015, becoming the first and only 5-star hotel on Penang Mainland. This new hotel has 303 rooms, including 25 suites. The opening of this hotel in Seberang Jaya strengthens the towns's position as a major business centre for Penang Mainland. The Light Hotel Penang is at Lebuh Tenggiri 2.
The Light Hotel Penang is geared for events, meetings and banquets. It has a Grand Ballroom with a capacity of 1,200, which is perfect for grand wedding banquets. There are smaller function rooms for events, meetings and conferences. The hotel has a swimming pool, a gym, and male and female steam rooms, among others.

The Light Hotel Penang has four F&B outlets. The flagship outlet is Spice Brasserie, on the ground floor of the hotel. This spacious dining hall is open from 6:30am in the morning, in time for the breakfast buffet, until 11:00pm in the evening. In addition, there is Flavours@3, which offers elegant evening dining, the Garden Bar, with views of the swimming pool, and Lumino Lounge, for a quiet relaxation.
