Thendayabani Muthumariamman Chettiar Temple (GPS: ) is a major Hindu temple in Balik Pulau. It is located on the road leading towards Sungai Pinang. The temple was first built in the 1880's, when the Indians came to Balik Pulau to serve as labourers in the plantations for the local council.

The Thendayabani Muthumariamman Chettiar Temple has a central gopuram with ornate sculptures, and a gateway with carvings on the pediment. It is dedicated to the Hindu deity Subramaniam and the female deity Mariamman. Vaigasi is the feast day of the temple. It is celebrated over three days in the month of May.

Getting there

The nearest bus stop is along Jalan Sungai Pinang in Balik Pulau. It is served by Rapid Penang bus 403, 404 and 501.
