Tong Ling Kong (GPS: 5.41049, 100.33198) is a newly rebuilt Taoist shrine along Presgrave Street, in George Town, Penang. Established in 1975, Tong Ling Kong venerates Teong Tnua Guan Suay as the principal deity. Subsidiary deities at this shrine include Baosheng Tua Teh and Hock Teik Cheng Sin aka Tua Pek Kong.

When I passed by Tong Ling Kong, I see that the structure has been rebuilt recently. It now has a stainless steel grill façade. The altar is placed in front, at the curbside. Hanging from the porch is a couple of Chinese lanterns.

Getting there

From the Komtar Bus Terminal, walk along Jalan Ria until Magazine Road. Turn left, walk along Magazine Road till junction of McNair Street. Go along McNair Street until junction of Presgrave Street. Turn left into Presgrave Street and walk till you find Tong Ling Kong on your left.
