Tropics Eight Suites (GPS: 5.43186, 100.3017) is an all-suite hotel along Gottlieb Road in George Town, Penang. The hotel occupies NB Place and is a property of the New Bob Group. It offers suites of different sizes. The standard suites measures 500 sqft and is suitable for long-stay executives. In addition to that, there is the 700-square-meter Premier Suite, 800-square-meter Family Suite and the 2-bedroom Suites.

With its proximity to major Penang hospitals, Tropics Eight Suites is well suited for guests coming for medical tourism. It even has doctor on call from a qualified external doctor. Other facilities include in-house laundry, covered car park, fitness centre, audiovisual equipment and multipurpose function space.

Tropics Eight Suites Hotel Review

I had the pleasure of reviewing the various suites at Tropics Eight. In the company of the hotel's consultant, Mr Adrian Praveen, I visited the Standard Suite and the Family Suite. Unfortunately the 2-bedroom Suite was fully occupied at that time, so I don't have chance to take a look at it. Nevertheless, I understand that it is similar in size to the Family Suite, except that there is a partition to form two separate bedrooms.
