Vistana Penang Bukit Jambul Hotel (GPS: 5.336519, 100.291774) is a 238-room hotel located at Jalan Bukit Gambir in Bukit Jambul, Penang. It is near to Bukit Jambul Complex and a short distance from Queensbay Mall, Penang Golf Club and the Bayan Lepas Industrial Zone. The hotel offers several types of rooms to choose from. On the main wing, there are the 28-square-meter Executive Deluxe Rooms and the 50-square-meter Executive Suites. The adjacent block is the Suite Wing, which has the Two-Bedroom Suite, the Three-Bedroom Suite and the Executive Lounge.

Vistana is a relatively inexpensive hotel which is ideal for weddings and other functions. The hotel is part of the YTL Group which also manages the J.W. Marriot in Kuala Lumpur.

Vistana underwent a refurbishment in early 2014. This includes a new coat of paint and a refreshed Suite Wing. I was invited to a tour of it on 14 August, 2014, and came back with details and pictures of the Vistana Penang Bukit Jambul Suite Wing.

F&B Outlets at Vistana Penang Bukit Jambul

There are three f&b outlets at Vistana Penang Bukit Jambul, namely the Cafe, the Barista and the Executive Lounge.

The Cafe is open only for breakfast. Other than that, it is only used when there is a large function.

Barista

Barista is a small café at Vistana, where guests can order any item, when the main Café is not operating. As the name suggests, there is a barista who will prepare various types of coffee for you. Guests who do not bring their own computer can also make use of the computer at Barista to check their mails or surf the web.
